Year 9 / 10 Contemporary Music students record a song for NAIDOC week

We’re proud to share a fantastic music project some of our students have been involved in over the last term which has been officially released today just in time for NAIDOC week!

The song was written by a group of Year 9 / 10 Contemporary Music students in collaboration with a local indigenous artist, Nancy Bates and Craigmore High School over the last term for NAIDOC week (8th – 15th November aka RIGHT NOW!).

PIC’s own Caitlyn Walker wrote and recorded the intro, Craigmore HS wrote and recorded the first verse and the rest is all PIC to the end including a beautiful solo by Bianca Daly and a killer rap by Lochlan McCue!

The class have absolutely outdone themselves representing the school to the highest possible standard. They’re incredibly proud of their achievements.
