Colour Run
Colour Run 2018 was the second installment of a joint House Golden Event run by Tao and Mitchell Houses. Students come out in year levels to complete as many laps they can in their designated time slot, each lap awarding their house a lap point.
Students have a great day walking, running, skipping and even hopping around our 600m track. The entire student body clocked up a total of 1072 laps equaling a staggering 643 kms! Our goal next year is to clock up 720 kms; the distance to Melbourne from Playford International College.
This event promotes teamwork and house spirit with a great focus on student physical wellbeing! Getting students out of the classroom and active gives students the opportunity to set personal goals and work together as a collective for their House.
Mitchell House came away with the win with a total of 211 laps whilst Thomas House followed behind on 167 laps.
The day finished with a Colour Powder ceremony with both Staff and Students getting
involved on the colourful fun! A big congratulations to all students for a fantastic effort and great afternoon dancing to music and getting colourful!
