Positive Education

This term saw one of the biggest Positive Education focused days of the year at Playford International College.

Chinese Excursion

On the 13th of June Chinese language classes went on an excursion to the Confucius Institute at The University of Adelaide to take part in a Chinese Peking Opera mask workshop and also visited Adelaide Chinatown to gain knowledge of the Chinese culture as part of our studies.

Child Studies

In Term 1 the Year 12 Child Studies class has been working in collaboration with Mrs Boag’s Year 1 class from Elizabeth Grove Primary School.

Netball Academy

On May the 13th, nine of the Netball Academy girls played their first game representing Playford International College in the state’s most elite competition at Priceline Stadium.

PIC students now get more help to get them on their Career Pathways! The Student Pathways Team have taken a new direction this year.

Message from the Deputy Principal

School Attendance Research shows that poor school attendance is associated with: • lower academic achievement including literacy and numeracy • early school leaving • leaving school with fewer qualifications • reduced opportunities for students to learn and access educational resources, further limiting achievement • further absenteeism in higher year levels • increased incidence of negative impact on health and wellbeing.
