Upgrade of Learning Space

Design and Technology students in Digital Technology classes had an opportunity to re-design and re-develop the computer room area on Fusion 360. This was also done in a PLT class and had great success.

Students measured and sketched out the entire Technology building, students then made recommendations about what appropriate things needed to change to this space to make it modern and support 21st century learning. Students designed the new space, including what type of furniture they would like. This was then formulated and presented to Exec Operations in a proposal form (fully costed). Students where extremely proud when this proposal was approved and felt a real sense of pride.

The Technology faculty would like to thank Exec Operations especially Julie Heddle and Rob Knight for there ongoing support to our faculty, and to improving learning spaces to support 21st century Design and Technology at PIC.
