Playford Alternative Learning (PAL) Centre

February 25, 2016 0 comments

On Monday February 15, the PAL Centre officially opened its doors to a group of 20 student from Years 8-10 at Playford International College. We provide full-time on-site learning programs and case management for FLO students enrolled at Playford IC with the view to re-engagement in the mainstream curriculum.

PAL Centre programs are run by Playford IC staff in conjunction with course tutors from agencies including Mission Australia, Baptist Care SA and Relationships Australia (SA). We have a flexible and engaging curriculum with a ‘hands-on’ and authentic approach to learning.

This week our students have enjoyed improving their literacy and numeracy skills, working on a team-building construction project, selecting elective subjects and working in the Tech Studies Centre. We look forward to an exciting year of learning!
