Playford Global Studies students make an environmental trip to our coastline
Alex is a Marine Biologist with the the Holdfast Bay Council. On Wednesday 11 September she spoke with students from our school about how human activity has impacted on the Adelaide coast, and informed our group about the work of Council and Government to preserve and rehabilitate what is left of the dunes.
Within the lifetime of these young people, there are great concerns about the future of Adelaide’s beaches because of human impact and climate change.
What a great day of positive education, learning and adventure.
