Orienteering adventure in Belair National Park
Global Studies students enjoyed an orienteering adventure in Belair National Park. Ascending the Hills through the rail tunnel on the Belair line near Coromandel was for some students a first-time experience.
After learning how to apply skills in distance, scale and direction the group set up short orienteering courses with fun and engaging clues.
We saw native wildlife including kangaroos, rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras and a koala was close by in a tree.
A great day of learning about navigating and the value of nature.
