AEU Industrial Action Wednesday 25 September 2019
Dear Families,
I am writing to inform you that Playford International College will be open but providing a modified education program for the last hour of the school day on Wednesday 25th September 2019 due to a vote for industrial action by members of the Australian Education Union at this site.
The Education Director has approved the provision of a modified program on the grounds that there will be sufficient staff on duty to enable me as Principal to ensure that adequate standards of student safety and welfare can be provided.
As with site procedure for early closure students will be allowed to leave at the start of lunch (1.30pm). Should your child require supervision until 3pm, this will be provided at school. Modified education programs will be provided to students for the last hour of the school day. This means that groups of students will be supervised but regular classes will not take place.
Normal education programs will resume on Thursday 26th September 2019.
