Dear Parent / Caregiver,
We were recently made aware of inappropriate posts being shared by students on social media platforms.
I’d like to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of our students is always our top priority.
I can confirm the that the matter has been reported to SAPOL.
During the coming days we will be implementing an educative response to ensure our students understand the importance of cyber safety and the risks associated with inappropriate social media use inside and outside of the school gates. Support is available for any students who need it.
We will make it clear to students that any bullying or harassment including online will be taken seriously and dealt with.
We will continue to work with our students on the topic of safe social media use so they can learn how to make responsible choices to protect themselves and their fellow students.
