The second annual Playford International College Swimming Carnival was held on Tuesday 14th February. Fortunately it was perfect weather for students to swim, have fun, socialise, meet new people and show their competiveness in the pool. There was fantastic school spirit with students supporting their houses by getting in the pool, dressing up in their house colours, and supporting their peers. Individual awards winners for outstanding performances on the day were: Year 8 boy winners Braeden Booth and Blake Raferty, Year 8 girl winners Phoenix Kulpie and Taylor Mercer, Year 9 boy winners Wayne Prior and Noah Kanikula, Year 9 girl winner Rachel Henderson, Year 10 boy winner Dwight Raferty, Year 10 girl winner Paige Fewings, Senior boy winner Farell Pawadi, Senior girl winners Carissa Nicholson and Meg-Smith Atkinson.

The winning house was Barnes, with Freeman second and Jackson and Mitchell equal third. Congratulations to all staff and students who helped make this a fantastic PIC event.
