Stolen Generation Healing Gardens
A small group of students recently attended the Stolen Generation Memorial and Healing Gardens at Andrews Farm. The four students; Keniesha Weetra, Marikah Weetra, Joseph Egan and Branden Lawrie had previously assisted in designing two of the permanent artworks installed into a path.
Students liaised with members of the stolen generation, council members and community volunteers whilst developing the path. All students did a fantastic job on the project and volunteered to complete another group’s artwork who couldn’t attend the event.
