At the end of Term 1 our NASSSA Youth Action Team members held a meeting at Playford International College. Georga Hall, Amuri Bizimana and Anthony Divola welcomed student representatives from other northern suburbs high schools so that they could continue their monthly meetings and work toward the student-led conference later this term.
Amuri Bizimana and Bek Sellars also attended the Thriving Adolescent workshop on Wednesday 6th of April. This workshop was organised through NASSSA and run by Louise Hayes a Clinical Psychologist. Amuri was able to take away some good ideas and activities that he is going to trail with our student leadership class. This information will also be helpful in the planning and running of the student led conference the group have been working on.
